one good weekend!!

This past weekend Jeff, Sara and Bennett came for a visit. I had been looking forward to it since we went down to K. Falls earlier in August.

They got to our house around 10:30 friday and soon Jill, Jaxon and Cinnie got here too.. we played at our house all day and everyone took turns sleeping in our BIG bed..

i had such a fun day and couldn't wait for it to be Saturday so we could go to Cottage Grove and spend the whole day and night and next day with the kids...

I spent a good part of the afternoon outside with Sara and Ben while he drove around the hummer. He barely reaches the petals but don't even think about trying to take him out of there or you will have these horribly sad images stuck in your brain.

I mean is that not the look of the most broken hearted boy ever? he tried to get back in himself




but after that didn't work Sara gave in and despite it being pretty cold outside she let him drive around, in a circle i might add, for another 45 minutes or so.. it was the highlight of my day to say the least plus it gave me time to take about 200 pictures of him:)..

soon it was time to go inside and warm up with some of Cinnies famous chili. Papa got home right about the same time and brought cool duck balloons for Ben and Jaxon, the first game of the season was on that night.. we all ate way to much but haD A GOOD TIME VISITING AROUND THE TABLE...

The next day we , jeff max and I , got up early and played some wii and then we waited and waited for the tappana's to get there. they had been camping and had lots to clean up so we forgave them and quickly got inside and right the business of opening presents.. I got a cool candle and planter and a new cd. We gave Paul his present, i think he liked it, hard to tell ;).. and then Jill opened her present. let's just say she got the present to beat all but I'll save that for another blog down the road.. all in all it was one of the best weekends this girls had in some ime and i was justsad that we won't all be together again till hopefully Thanksgiving, BTW sara, twilight is now opening on the 21st of november so that means you guys HAVE to come!,.

I will leave this little update with the ouchiest lookin kid i've seen. good thing those Tappana kids are so fearless!!
